Aroha Kaikorai Valley is a conservation trust dedicated to improving the local environment and strengthening community connections. Their work focuses on removing predators and weeds, planting native trees, and improving the water quality of the Kaikorai Stream.
They are looking for a Community Trapper to join their predator control efforts and help manage backyard traps for community members who are unable to do this themselves.
As a Community Trapper, you will:
This role combines hands-on trapping with meaningful community engagement. You’ll build relationships with trap hosts and help them feel connected to conservation and Aroha Kaikorai Valley’s mission.
