Fabulous Festival Volunteers

The annual Bayleys Tussock Country - New Zealand's Country Music Festival brings the Eastern Southland rural community and the New Zealand country music community together for ten days and 70+ events celebrating music, food, rural life, entertainment and camaraderie. The Festival supports dozens of community groups, hundreds of artists and entertains thousands of patrons every year.

Volunteers will play an important role in the operations and delivery of Tussock Country, from stage runners, ambassadors, VIP hosts, shuttle drivers, door sales, social media champions and photographers to name just a few. This is a great opportunity to work as part of a team and develop your skills or learn new skills at a major NZ event. They will need over 50 volunteers to make this event successful.

Gore Host: Represent the festival and the Gore region! You’ll be the contact person for a variety of visiting VIPs - media, musicians and dignitaries.
Know where to get a great best cheese role, print out a document and how to get to Miss Cocoas? If so, your local knowledge and nothing’s-a-problem personality will ensure visitors have a memorable experience for all the right reasons. Perks of the role: who knows who you might be hosting!
