Community Dinner Volunteer

The Valley Project is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support the North East Valley (NEV) Community Dinner at the NEV Bowling Club on Saturday 20 September. Volunteers will help ensure the event runs smoothly and everyone has a positive experience. Tasks may include:

• Preparing and serving food in the kitchen
• Setting up and packing down the event space
• Running activities for people of all ages
• Dishwashing and cleaning

This is a hands-on opportunity to connect with the local community, contribute to a fun and inclusive event, and be part of a valued neighbourhood tradition.

Requirements

• Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented
• Willing to assist in a variety of tasks, including light physical activity
• Commitment to creating a positive experience for all attendees

Time commitment

• Friday 19 September – afternoon setup (optional)
• Saturday 20 September – afternoon and evening, shifts available
