South Alive (South Invercargill Urban Rejuvenation Charitable Trust)
South Alive's mission statement is : Empowered by our strengths as a community, we will build a place to live and work that engenders pride and inspires us. They are a community led development organisation focused on the revitalisation of South Invercargill. They run a number of projects and events and have specific action teams with volunteers working on "beautification, fruit and nut orchards, housing and events."

South Alive Beautification Team Member
The South Alive Beautification team are beautifying South Invercargill by looking after our community gardens, pop up flower beds, hanging baskets and workshops. The team are looking for more people to join them in the gardens!
South Alive 'Sustainable Living' Action Team member
The South Alive Sustainable Living Team run a number of projects raising pride in people's properties and promoting sustainability in South Invercargill. The team are looking for more volunteers to help organise and fundraise for these projects.
Events team casual volunteer
South Alive holds a number of events throughout the year and are always looking for an extra set of hands to help deliver events across the South Invercargill community.
Fruit and Nut team casual volunteer
South Alive's Fruit and Nut Action Team have established and maintain 8 fruit and nut orchards around South Invercargill. They are looking for volunteers to help at their regular working bees at these orchards.
