Central Otago REAP provides educational opportunities throughout our rural communities. REAP works collaboratory with other organisations from early childhood to the senior population. Central Otago REAP is a community-based resource providing non-formal learning opportunities for individuals/whanau to grow and develop.
Support children and staff at an early childhood centre for just an hour per week to help develop their confidence and social skills through games and other fun activities.
Support and form connections with children who have limited contact with older people to fill the intergenerational gap that is becoming a difficulty for some families. You would also be supporting the classroom teacher.
Help reduce waste! If you enjoy repairing things and sharing your repair knowledge with others, or just love community events, join the upcoming Repair and Care Cafes in Alexandra or Cromwell.
Empower individuals or whanau in your community by providing support to families to develop new skills and form relationships and connections in the community.
Are you a confident driver? Keen to help others who aren't yet? Volunteer driving mentors are needed to supervise learner drivers while they practice on the road.
